Accountant

Description We are seeking an Accountant for our team located in El Monte, California. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and entails thorough financial analysis, preparation of financial statements, bookkeeping functions, and compliance with state revenue service. The position also includes assisting with tax return preparation and budgeting processes, performing audits and proactively updating knowledge of current accounting procedures and principles.Responsibilities: Preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Reconciliation of financial data with reports and identification and resolution of discrepancies. Management of accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, and conducting bank reconciliations. Assistance in the preparation of annual tax filings, including the collection and organization of necessary documents. Analysis of financial data to prepare reports that guide financial decisions. Collaboration with the management team to develop a company budget. Conducting internal financial audits and providing recommendations for improving procedures. Ensuring compliance with state revenue service. Continuous update of knowledge regarding current accounting procedures and principles. Utilization of Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP Solutions, Great Plains (GPAC), and other relevant systems.
