Data Entry Clerk

Description We are in search of a meticulous Data Entry Clerk to be a part of our team. Based in El Segundo, California, the role is primarily focused on the airline, forwarding, and cargo industry. The job offers a contract to hire employment opportunity with a hybrid work arrangement, providing the flexibility of both remote and in-office work. You must be able to work Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday 8-10 hours per shift. Tuesday - Thursday would be days off! Responsibilities include: Efficiently processing customer credit applications Maintaining and organizing accurate customer credit records Handling customer inquiries and email correspondences professionally Utilizing Microsoft Excel and Word for various tasks Performing calculations and other data entry tasks accurately Typing documents and other written materials Scanning and organizing files as needed Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions Providing exceptional customer service at all times Utilizing knowledge of the Freight Forwarding and Airline industry in day-to-day tasks.Requirements Proficiency in 10 Key Skills Demonstrable experience in Customer Service Proficiency in Data Entry Ability to handle Email Correspondence effectively Competency in Microsoft Excel Competency in Microsoft Word Experience in Organizing Files Ability to Perform Calculations accurately Skilled in Scanning documents Proficiency in Typing Experience in Freight Forwarder role Knowledge of Freight Forwarding processes Experience or knowledge of Airline industry is a plus Familiarity with Airline Reservations system Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
