Description Our client, a leading real estate firm in North County, San Diego, is currently seeking a competent Bookkeeper with QuickBooks experience to join their finance team. The position requires excellent numeracy skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of accounting principles. Financial Records: Maintain records of financial transactions by establishing accounts and posting transactions.
Reconciliation: Ensure accuracy of data by regularly reconciling accounts and rectify any discrepancies.
Financial Reports: Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
Tax Preparation: Assist with the preparation of tax returns in compliance with legislation.
Payroll Management: Manage payroll, ensuring all staff are paid on time and correct deductions are applied.
Budget Assistance: Assist with monitoring and maintenance of the company budget.
Requirements
Associate degree in bookkeeping, accounting, finance, or a related field.
Proven bookkeeping experience along with proficiency in QuickBooks Software (QBS).
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent data entry skills and experience with spreadsheets and financial reports.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
