Pay Rate:The pay rate for this job is $22 / hourWhat you'll be doing as a Maintenance Mechanic:

Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.

Performs scheduled and regular preventative maintenance repairs on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.

Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

Performs mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.

Uses a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.

Detects faulty operations, defective material and reports those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.

Maintains production areas, maintenance shop, and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.

Maintains and repairs facility equipment including, but not limited to, air condition units, restrooms, lighting/electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.

Maintains company required performance and maintenance records for production equipment.

Prepares written reports for management to answer and report findings and pending decision and/or changes as needed.

Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment, through periodic on call availability during all plant operating hours.

Provide pareto analysis of deviations from production schedule

Lead weekly production inventory counts

High school diploma and completion of a craft apprenticeship or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience. Associates degree in a related technical field such as mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance is preferred.

Critical thinking and logical reasoning skills, including problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making

Ability to present complex data in clear, concise text

Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables

Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos

Displays contagious enthusiasm for objectives, tasks, and people

Highly effective communicator possessing the ability to listen with the intent to understand fully and articulating strong reasoning and potential solutions

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently, with limited direct supervision, and effectively manage tasks and time

Ability to apple commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram communication and language skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure

Ability to understand mathematical concepts

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
