We’re looking for a part-time baker to join Hearten Company, a small local bakery that believes in the beauty of handmade food and meaningful work. Our pastries are made from scratch with simple, high-quality ingredients - baked for ritual, built for joy.
You’ll help produce our signature braided cinnamon buns and seasonal pastries for local coffee shops, catering, and special orders. Ideal candidates are reliable, detail-oriented, and genuinely care about creating something special for others.
Responsibilities:
Mixing, shaping, and baking doughs and pastries
Preparing glazes, fillings, and toppings
Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
Assisting with packaging and prep for wholesale and catering orders
Requirements:
Some prior baking or kitchen experience preferred (home or professional)
Comfortable working early mornings and independently
Able to lift 25-50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Pride in craftsmanship and consistency
Schedule:
Part-time (10-20 hours/week), flexible schedule depending on production needs.

Based on experience.
Location:
Fresno/Clovis area - work produced at the Clovis Culinary Center.
