Description We are looking for a detail-oriented, reliable accounts payable clerk to join our client’s financial team. The accounts payable clerk will be responsible for managing and executing all activities related to accounts payable function including receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.Responsibilities:

Maintain the accurate and efficient processing of accounts payable transactions.

Receive, verify, and process all invoices and requests for payment.

Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.

Match invoices to purchase orders, verify pricing and approval for payment.

Prepare and perform check runs, wire transfers and electronic payments.

Respond timely to all vendor and department inquiries.

Maintain vendor files, correspondences, and other related documents.

Assist in monthly closings and annual audit preparation.

Review discrepancies and take appropriate measures to resolve them.

Protect organization’s integrity by keeping all financial information confidential.

Perform data entry associated with accounts payable and other accounting duties as needed.

Degree in finance, accounting or relevant field.

Proven experience as an accounts payable clerk or similar role.

Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles.

Well-organized, detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

Proficient in MS Office, data entry, and accounting software.

Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.

Abide by all company safety and sanitation regulations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
