They play a vital role in preventing equipment breakdowns and minimizing downtime by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and repairing machinery as needed. This position requires the understanding of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and automated machinery commonly used in manufacturing settings.Perform routine maintenance tasks on manufacturing equipment and machinery according to established schedules to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Inspect machinery to identify potential issues, diagnose mechanical and electrical problems, and implement corrective actions to prevent breakdowns and ensure safe operation. Conduct repairs and replacements of faulty parts, components, and systems to restore equipment functionality and minimize production interruptions. Calibrate machinery to maintain accuracy and precision in manufacturing processes, adhering to quality standards and specifications.The essential functions of this role include:
