Job Title: 3rd Shift Extrusion Dept OperatorJob DescriptionWe are seeking dedicated 3rd Shift Production Operators. Candidates will receive training on operating equipment controls for loading/unloading rolls safely for packing, and winding/rewinding of finished product. Responsibilities include preparing samples of finished product, and printing and labeling material to be sent to customers. Perform the duty of packaging rolls as it is produced on the machine per work order instructions.
Obtain material for processing from inventory bins. Advise supervisor if damaged, defective, or missing material is found.
Perform machine set-ups according to standard procedures or work order plans provided by supervisor.
Check operating controls and safety stops on equipment prior to operating equipment.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with company policies.
Review work order/drawings and resolve conflicts.
Produce and pack product manufactured per work order instructions during shift.
Maintain lift cart certification.
Notify supervisor or manager of any potential safety hazards.Hard Skills
