Looking for a top level, highly motivated Screw/Lathe CNC Lead Machinist to join our team!
The Screw/Lathe Lead Machinist will operate and perform set ups of CNC Screw/Lathe machines. Incumbent must be experienced in programming, setups and operating Swiss CNC Machines. Will be responsible for completing assigned jobs independently from start to finish. Will run multiple and varying CNC machines simultaneously, such as Lathes and Swiss Turn machines in addition to operating manual machine tools to cut, drill, shape, and finish quality products with no supervision.
This role will also ensure screw/lathe team is engaged and ready to meet production demand as scheduled. Will provide effective training to the team to ensure safety and quality standards are maintained at all times.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
-Program and Set up CNC Screw machines
-Run CNC machines
-Read and understand blueprints, diagrams, & written instructions
-Knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens and Fadal Controls and live tooling
Requirements:
-Must be able to pull own tooling as required by each job
-Must be able to work in Metric and Standard dimensioning
-Attention to detail
-Only reliable and dependable person's needed
-Able to read measuring equipment
