Cashier-Food Service Attendant
Location: USCG Long Beach

Wages: $16.20/HR plus Health & Welfare $4.23/hr. Total $20.43/HR

Vacation - 10 days after 1st year anniversary

Schedule/Hours of Work:
Monday – Thursday
6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Some weekends as needed
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand on feet for 2.5-3.5 hours a shift
Must be able to lift up to 40-50 lbs.
Job Duties:
Responsible for collection, accounting, and safeguarding of monies from the sale of meals during meal times.
When not performing cashier duties - clean the galley equipment to include ventilation hood
Set up the dining rooms, fill ice and beverage dispensers, clean and replenish table condiments to support the meals
Food preparation: chop vegetables and fruits; assemble fruit and salad bar items
Remove trays from tables and trash removal
Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware
Package take-out foods and/or serve food to customers
Job Requirements:
Prior food attendance experience preferred but not required.
Basic math skills able to handle cash and give exact change.
Candidate should be able to understand and speak English.
Candidate must have reliable transportation and flexible availability.
