Location: Beverly Grove area
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm or 8am to 4pm (LIVE IN or LIVE OUT)
Compensation: $35/hour take home
A family of four residing in the charming Beverly Grove area of Los Angeles is seeking a dedicated and capable Housekeeper/Household Assistant. Ideally this candidate will LIVE IN, however this is not a firm requirement. The family lives in a unique Spanish-style townhouse that has been expanded to include a second downstairs unit with its own kitchen and separate entrance. They are looking for someone who can blend traditional housekeeping duties with light household management tasks and occasionally assist with childcare in absence of the parents or the children's nanny. The family is seeking a mature, capable individual, ideally someone who has worked in this role before, and is comfortable becoming a close and trusted member of the household.
Key Responsibilities:
Housekeeping:
◦ Clean and maintain all areas of the home, ensuring a tidy, organized, and welcoming environment.
◦ Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dishes, making the beds, dusting, vacuuming, and mopping.
◦ Laundry: Manage and care for all household linens and personal clothing.
◦ Organize and maintain household supplies and inventory.
◦ Run errands such as grocery shopping, dry cleaning, and package returns.
◦ Meet with vendors and manage household services (e.g., repairs, maintenance).
◦ Handle family-related projects and tasks as needed.
◦ In rare cases, provide backup childcare support when needed, including dropping off or picking up children from events if mom or nanny cannot.
◦ Engage with children in a warm and caring manner.
◦ Cook and prepare occasional simple meals as needed (smoothies, light breakfast, dinner). The family is NOT seeking chef-level experience.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a similar role.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to manage household tasks independently and proactively.
Comfortable with occasional childcare duties.
Basic cooking skills.
Reliable, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality.
A positive, friendly, and approachable demeanor.
Flexible and adaptable to the family’s needs and schedule.
