The Barista is responsible for:
Dialing-in and preparing coffee and tea drinks according to Salud! recipe standards.
Pre-prepping House-made syrups and tonics
Preparing drinks with efficient, professional standards.
Taking orders on Toast POS system
Offering warm hospitality to every guest.
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation is an hourly rate based on experience, plus daily tip pool shared.

Requirements:
A passion to further your education and knowledge of specialty coffee and hospitality.
Strong verbal interpersonal communication skills.
Organizational skills – follow up, scheduling and attention to detail.
Must have current California ServSafe certification
Mornings, Afternoons and Weekend availability
Be self-directed when needed, but comfortable taking direction and asking questions.
A strong candidate will have/be expected to:
Participate in cashier, table service and food running duties
A strong coffee palate and ability to dial-in extractions for different brew methods
Experience in sales and high-volume work environments.
Experience in other hospitality or service industry sectors
Home-brewing and recipe-building experience with alternative ingredients.
Experience instructing others how to be better at brewing coffee and tea
