Immediate Position for Market Sushi and some event sushi. Start working now.
Be able to ensure proper set-up and stocking of stations with all necessary supplies.
Preparing for service (e.g. vegetables, preparing fish, rice and sauces).
Ensure that all product are maintained at the highest level of quality and consistency.
Work with the team to portion prep work for other shifts.
Monitor product freshness and rotate product for freshness.
Skills and Qualifications:
Positive attitude, friendly.
Must have minimum 1 year experience working behind a sushi bar.
Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
Familiar with industries best practices.
Must be able to follow all safety, health and sanitation procedures.
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and time management skills.
Must have experience filleting fish.
Must have open availability to work on different shifts, day/night, weekends, and holidays.
