Private general dental office is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant or RDA to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, maintain a clean and organized clinic, and work collaboratively with our team to ensure the highest level of care for our patients. The ideal candidate will have experience as a dental assistant and is able to multitask and is able to perform certain front office tasks as needed. Need to know how to use Dentrix. Office is open on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and some Saturdays. Must have at least 2 years of experience!
Duties:
- Assist dentists with patient care and treatment procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for patients.
- Take X-rays and other medical images as needed. (Must have a X-ray license)
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Monitor infection control protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinic, adhering to sterilization and infection control procedures.
- Work effectively with Dentrix software is a plus.
- Bilingual applicant (Spanish, English) is preferred.
- Perform administrative tasks, including answering phones and scheduling appointments, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a dental assistant program or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, including endodontics/OS/Perio/Ortho
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with others.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized clinic environment, adhering to infection control
protocols.
- Have CPR license
