Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Car Rental Porter to join our team. The Car Rental Porter will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our rental vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for the automotive industry.
1. Car Washing and Detailing: Wash, clean, and detail rental vehicles according to company standards and procedures. This includes exterior and interior cleaning, vacuuming, and polishing to ensure vehicles are presented in top condition to customers.
2. Inspecting Vehicles: Conduct routine inspections of vehicles to identify any damages, scratches, or mechanical issues. Report any issues to the appropriate supervisor for timely resolution.
3. Maintaining Equipment: Ensure all car washing equipment and supplies are properly maintained and in good working condition. Report any equipment malfunctions or shortages to management for prompt resolution.
4. Customer Service: Provide friendly and professional customer service while interacting with clients during vehicle drop-offs and pickups. Answer any questions and address concerns regarding vehicle cleanliness and maintenance.
5. Adhering to Safety Procedures: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. This includes proper handling of cleaning chemicals and adherence to safety precautions while operating equipment.
6. Assisting with Other Duties: Assist other team members with various tasks as needed, including vehicle shuttling, parking, and organization of the rental lot.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience in car washing, detailing, or automotive maintenance preferred but not required.
2. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
3. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
6. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
7. Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
