We are a local craft hard cider and mead brewery, and we are searching for an amazing production assistant at our facility!
This is a great entry-level role with room for growth for anyone interested in breweries, wineries, bars, restaurants or logistics business. You will be part of the backbone of the operation and must be able to pay attention to detail, follow instructions to a T, communicate well and be thorough in your duties.
You will be part of a small team and will need to assist all functions at times, so expect to learn all facets of the production/manufacturing, distribution, sales and retail sides of the business. Thus you need to also be a quick learner and curious about everything that makes this ship sail.
The job will include moving objects, sometimes heavy (up to 150lb kegs), following and developing recipes and procedures, cleaning of all sorts, driving and making deliveries in our vans, interacting with customers, logging info into spreadsheets, solving problems and fixing things. Must have reliable transportation and good driving record. Should be a self starter able to do work unsupervised in both warehouse and retail settings. This role may be good for someone who has worked on cannabis production with machinery.
