Insulation Commandos of Southern California is a US Army Veteran owned company seeking a skilled/motivated insulation installers to join our team. We are the corporate location for a national franchise. We work in LA, Ventura, and Orange Counties.
Experience in insulation/acoustical specifically is ideal or construction generally is helpful. However, these skills/experiences are not required.
As an insulation installer, you will be responsible for removing, sealing, installing materials and measuring the quantities needed in residential and commercial buildings.
This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in various environments.
Responsibilities
- Install insulation materials such as fiberglass, foam, and cellulose in walls, ceilings, and attics
- Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific areas
- Seal gaps and cracks to ensure proper insulation
- Use tools such as tape measures, knives, and staplers to install insulation
- Follow safety guidelines and wear protective equipment
- Clean/maintained work uniform, truck, and equipment
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Insulator or in a similar role is a plus, but not required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects
- Knowledge of different types of insulation materials and their applications
- Ability to follow instructions, ability to read blueprints a great plus, not required
- Excellent communication skills
- English communication ability is a requirement
