Small and fast growing painting company is seeking a skilled painter to join our team for part time work. The ideal candidate will have experience with painting homes and small commercial buildings. Stucco painting, wood trim painting and repair, and metal railing painting are a few of the main tasks. The Painter will be responsible for using paint rollers, brushes, paint sprayers and painting equipment with ladders.
Part Time (2 weeks / month minimum) , $25 - $30 / hr based on experience
MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN PAINTING
MUST HAVE OWN VEHICLE
MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS FOR INTERIOR & EXTERIOR PAINTING

If you are detail-oriented and passionate about delivering high-quality work, we want to hear from you! We are looking for experienced Lead Painters, part time for a minimum of 2 full weeks per month.
DUTIES
- Assembling and disassembling scaffolding or ladders as required
- Covering trim, floors, furniture and other surfaces with masking tape, drop cloths and other protective coverings to keep them free of paint- Prepare surfaces for painting by pressure washing, cleaning, prepping, sanding, and applying primer.
- Removing old finish using scrapers, chemical compounds- Apply paint or other finishes (stain) to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, and paint sprayers.
- Removing and reinstalling fixtures (eg, doorknobs, electric switch covers) as necessary- Perform touch-ups and ensure quality finishes.
- Cleaning machines, equipment and work areas using water, solvents and other cleaning aids
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Load tools in and out of company vehicle during work day.
- Notifies Supervisor of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage.
- Leaves job location clean and free of debris.
- Extracts and dumps debris and handles materials in a safe and efficient manner.
REQUIREMENTS
- Passion for highly detailed and clean painting work.
- Min. of 5 years painting experience
- Must provide own transportation.
- Must provide own tools and painting equipment.
- Excellent English speaking skills.
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision while using common sense.
- Ability to follow directions and take initiative.
- Be capable of working in a fast-paced environment
- Proof of valid driver's license, vehicle registration and auto insurance required.
- Proven ability to safely operate power tools.
- Proficiency in luxury residential painting techniques and detail.
- Knowledge of paint adhesion and application processes.
- Experience in stucco patching, caulking, and paint spraying.
- Strong attention to detail and precision craftsmanship
- Must be a motivated self-starter and Team Player
- Able to lift and or carry up to 20 pounds above shoulder level on a frequent basis and team lifting above 50 pounds when necessary.
- Ability to walk, stand, climb, stoop, bend, kneel, and or crawl.
- High School Diploma or GED
