In search of an experienced transmission mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in diagnosing and repairing transmissions for Chevy trucks.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair transmission issues for Chevy trucks.
Perform routine maintenance and transmission rebuilds.
Provide accurate estimates and repair recommendations.
Keep detailed records of all repairs and maintenance work.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle’s condition and necessary repairs.
Stay updated with the latest techniques and technology related to transmission repair.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a transmission mechanic, particularly with Chevy trucks.
Relevant certifications (e.g., ASE) preferred.
Strong diagnostic skills and ability to troubleshoot complex transmission issues.
Familiarity with Chevy truck models and their specific transmission systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with both manual and automatic transmissions.
Previous experience working in a dealership or specialized repair shop.
