Jalilvand Law Corporation (JLC) has an immediate opening for an Experienced Personal Injury Legal Secretary to join our boutique 5-Star firm in Beverly Hills, CA. The candidate must have recent civil litigation experience (4 years minimum required) and be available to work onsite at our Beverly Hills office. Ideal candidates have excellent writing and oral communication skills, are proficient with business software experience (MS Office, Adobe, etc.), are TEAM PLAYERS, and are willing to take initiative with regard to deadlines and managing tasks. Fluent oral and written communication in Spanish is a priority qualification for the position.

Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support to attorneys, including maintaining files, drafting documents, and managing correspondence

Assist with the preparation and filing of legal pleadings, motions, ex parte applications, and demand letters

Support attorneys in litigation matters, including drafting discovery responses and locating and retrieving responsive documents

Coordinate and schedule meetings, depositions, and court appearances

Manage attorney calendars and deadlines, ensuring timely completion of tasks

Serve as a liaison between clients, courts, and other parties

Perform other clerical duties as assigned, including scanning, copying, and organizing documents

Qualifications:

Minimum of 4 years of experience in "Civil Litigation"

Minimum of 1 year of experience in "Civil Litigation Trial"

Good working knowledge of Personal Injury

Proficient in Adobe, Word, Legal Software and types at least 45 wpm

Must be highly organized, handle pressure well, able to work under deadlines with possible extended hours occasionally

Self-sufficient and can work with minimum supervision

Excellent grammar and communication skills

Attention to detail, pro-active “can-do” attitude, and ability to follow directions

Bilingual, Spanish preferred
