Job Summary:
The Press Label Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining label printing machines to produce high-quality labels according to customer specifications and customer standards. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and adherence to safety and quality guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Machine Set up and Orientation:
-Prepare and set up printing press/machines for production runs.
Load materials (paper, film, ink) and ensure proper alignment and registration.
Quality Control:
-Monitor print quality throughout the production process.
Perform regular inspections and make adjustments as needed to maintain standards.
Maintenance:
-Conduct routine cleaning and maintenance of machine equipment.
Report and assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues.
Documentation and Reporting:
-Record production data, including quantities, waste, and down time.
Follow all company procedures for job tickets and quality checks.
Safety and Compliance:
-Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications:
-Highschool diploma or equivalent.
-Previous experience in printing or manufacturing preferred.
-Ability to read and interpret job specifications and color standards.
-Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
-Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods
Skills:
-Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with press equipment.
-Basic computer skills for data entry and machine interface.
-Ability to work independently and part of a team.
Work Schedule:
This is a Monday through Friday Night shift from 2:30pm to 11pm although the first two months or less of training the schedule will be 8:30am to 5pm.
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
