We are an established vitamin manufacturer looking for a motivated and energetic Purchasing and Inventory Control Manager to join our team. This position provides an excellent opportunity to help maintain high quality in the supply chain.
Purchasing & Inventory Control Manager Responsibilities
- Monitoring Stock Levels and identifying purchasing needs
- Negotiating with vendors to maintain best market pricing on materials
- Researching potential new vendors
- Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)
- Maintain detailed paper and/or computerized records of purchases, including quantities
ordered and received.
- Purchase materials in support of production schedule
Job Requirements
- Strong organizational skills

- Strong computer skills
- Analytical skills
- Work experience in purchasing and inventory control
- Good understanding of supply chain procedures
- Hands-on experience with purchasing software
- Follow up on orders to ensure that materials are shipped and delivered on promised dates.
