Maeving is a British electric motorcycle manufacturer. Everything, from the design to the Direct-to-Consumer business model, represents a significant disruption in what is already an exciting emerging sector. Headquartered in Coventry but with offices in Los Angeles, Germany and France, our dynamic team is responsible for some of the most iconic British motorcycles of the last 25 years.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, engaging and experienced Mobile Motorcycle Technician to join our team. You will work directly with the US General Manager and the UK team. The role’s main focus will be running the Maeving delivery and Aftersales operation, ensuring that bikes are delivered and repaired on time to the highest standards, resulting in an excellent customer experience. This role requires technical automotive knowledge, strong personal organisation and customer service skills.

This role has the potential to grow into a department lead position.

Responsibilities

Delivering customer motorcycles while representing the Maeving brand.

Diagnosing and completing repairs and services both in the field and in the Maeving workshop to the Maeving standard (tools provided by Maeving).

Working with the route planner to understand delivery and servicing trip requirements on a weekly basis.

Assisting with remote diagnosis of issues via email conversations with customers.

Maintaining a professional and friendly manner when interacting with customers.

Happy & confident driving long hours and when necessary, staying out overnight (expenses covered by Maeving)

Completing repair and service paperwork both in the office and the field. Updating digital systems to ensure accurate records of parts, labour, transport and warranty work are kept.

Completing Pre-delivery inspections and general warehouse and stock upkeep

Working with the UK Delivery & After Sales team to improve the Global Maeving Workshop. This includes anticipating customer challenges and proactively solving issues before they materialise.

 Experience

Two years working as a technician in the automotive or electric bike industry

Motorcycle Technician Training/ Working in Maeving Production

Comfortable using computer and phone apps to execute daily tasks (Microsoft ERP, Safety Culture)

Some form or experience with automotive electronics

Full car driving license

Full motorcycle driving license
