As a stone and tile restoration technician you will be responsible for the cleaning, repairing, restoring and sealing of natural stone (such as marble, travertine, limestone, slate, and granite) as well as ceramic tile and grout.
Job duties include:
1) Cleaning, honing, polishing and sealing all types of natural stone, tile, and grout. This includes working inside on floors, countertops, showers, and walls. This also includes working outside on patios, exterior walls, and other surfaces.
2) Repairing cracks and chips in stone and tile, and filling holes. Tinting and color matching of fillers.
3) Granite crack repair, including rod removal.
4) Re-grouting, applying color seal to grout, and applying caulking.
5) Sealing of stone and grout.
The employee would need to be able to stand, kneel, crouch, reach, bend for long periods.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
Attention to detail a must. High quality workmanship required.
Knowledge of cleaners, sealers, floor machines, wet vacs, polishers, and pressure washers.
Familiar with different types of stone and tile, and the restoration methods needed.
Able to take direction and complete tasks on time.
Courteous to clients and have a professional demeanor.
Must be able to legally work in California.
