Our client is in search of a passionate and reliable MedicalAssistant for their clinic in Merced, CA. As a Medical Assistant for our Client you will be a teammember in a Healthcare Organization that manages 40+ clinics in the CentralValley. So having a background recruiting, hiring, or talent sourcing inhealthcare is a plus. This position is a GREAT opportunity to get your foot in thedoor of a large healthcare organization with a lot of growthopportunities. DUTIES:
Demonstrates effective communication and problem- skills
Coordinates duties with Back Office Supervisor (BOS) and from licensed providers, RNs, LVNs, Director of Nursing (DON), Director of Operations (DOO), Quality Improvement/Assurance staff,
Communicating effectively with care team throughout the day
Answering calls
Maintaining efficient patient care flow throughout the day
Specimen collection and in-house diagnostic tests
Application of prefabricated orthopedic appliances
Provide patient instructions and education upon authorization of the provider
Records performance of authorized patient treatment and care in the medical record
REQUIREMENTS:
High School diploma or equivalent
Medical Assisting certificate from an accredited program
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
POSITION DETAILS:
Location - Merced, CA
Length - ASAP- 9/1 with Direct Hire option after assignment
Schedule - Mon-Fri, 8a-5p
Pay - $16.75 per hour
