Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionAs a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the operation of industrial equipment throughout the Distribution Center. This includes servicing high-speed unit sorters, case sorters, PLC controllers, conveyor controls, and more. You will also be involved in troubleshooting various components, understanding and managing different voltage levels, and handling repairs in plumbing, carpentry, and painting. Must have own tools, Must have minimum 1 year experience (preferred 2 years) of preventative maintenance, mechanical experience.Hard Skills
Experience with high speed unit sorters (Cross Belt, Tilt Tray, Sliding shoe)
Experience with case sorters (Narrow Belt, Pop Up, Sliding Shoe, Swivel wheel)
Experience with PLC controllers, RS logic, and programming
Experience with conveyor controls such as Pyramid, and Print & Apply
Troubleshooting skills for photo eyes, encoders, scanners, dimensioner
Experience with VFD controls, ASRS systems, and MDR conveyors
Electrical knowledge (600v, 480v, 240v, 120v, 24v, 12v)
Electrical knowledge of transformers and motor control panels
Skills in replacing and wiring 3 phase 480v motors and gear box speed reducers
Ability to re-lace or replace conveyor belts
Knowledge of air control systems and hydraulics
Experience with trash compactors and corrugated balers
Ability to read schematics and blueprints
Soft Skills
Thorough knowledge of all shop tools
Strong problem-solving skills
Effective communication skills
Ability to work independently
Pay
$22-$28/Hr
