Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accountant in Oakdale, California. This role is primarily involved in the financial industry, focusing on maintaining and auditing company financial records. As an Accountant, you will be expected to utilize various accounting software systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools to effectively perform your duties.Responsibilities: Utilize accounting software systems to maintain accurate financial data Perform regular auditing tasks to ensure the accuracy of financial information Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions to keep financial records up to date Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems to streamline and improve financial processes Regularly check and reconcile balance sheet accounts for discrepancies Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements Provide financial insights and reports to aid in company decision making Collaborate with other teams to improve and maintain financial health of the company.Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role Proficient in Accounting Software Systems Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems Ability to handle all Accounting Functions Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Auditing experience, specifically with Balance Sheet Account Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities High level of integrity and dependability with a sense of urgency and results-orientation Knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
