Description We are seeking a meticulous Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Oakland, California. In this role, you will be tasked with providing efficient and accurate data entry services, ensuring the smooth running of our operations. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity in the industry.Responsibilities: Operate data entry devices to input records, lists or other data points into an electronic format Provide quality service to customers, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues Utilize Microsoft Excel to record, store, and analyze information Manage and organize files for easy data retrieval when needed Perform basic mathematical calculations to check the accuracy of figures, computations, and reports Engage in email correspondence, ensuring professional and timely communication Provide support in scanning documents to digitize information for better data management Utilize your typing skills to quickly input data and other information into the system Leverage 10 Key Skills to accurately enter data and navigate software systemsRequirements Proficiency in data entry and typing Strong 10-key skills Excellent customer service abilities Experience with email correspondence in a professional setting Ability to organize and manage files efficiently Capable of performing basic calculations Proficient in scanning documents and related tasks Strong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
