Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern

Additionally, AECOM’s dedication to innovation and sustainability enables interns to contribute to meaningful projects that help shape communities and the built environment.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of water and wastewater treatment, water quality improvement, and stormwater management projects for a variety of clients.Create designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.Carry out engineering analyses, prepare reports and technical specifications, under the supervision of an experienced engineer.Work collaboratively within project teams to ensure project objectives are met within defined scope, schedule, and budget.Collect and analyze data, perform field work, undertake site inspections under the supervision of an experienced engineer.Attend site visits and meetings in clients’ offices.Maintain project records and files, contribute to the preparation of progress reports, communicate project and task updates to team members and supervisors as needed.Work under the supervision of a project manager or senior-level member.
