Key Role Expectation:

The Cook positions are one of the most important roles in ensuring every guest receives a high-quality, consistent, and timely meal. You'll be responsible for executing multiple tickets throughout the shift while focusing on preparation, plating, and recipe adherence.

Once hired, you will be trained in one or more line cook stations (Grill, Sauté, Pantry & Prep) and tested to ensure knowledge and capability in recipes, procedures, safety, and quality. You’ll also be trained on our guest standards and expected to contribute and thrive in a collaborative kitchen environment.

What We’re Looking For:

We are seeking passionate and skilled culinary professionals who are ready to jump into a high-energy kitchen and deliver consistency, speed, and quality with every dish.

As a Line Cook, you will:

1. Execute multiple tickets with focus on flavor, plate presentation, and recipe accuracy

2. Master your assigned station – Grill, Sauté, or Pantry – with precision

3. Ensure proper portioning and timely prep of all ingredients

4. Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked station throughout the shift

5. Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times

6. Communicate and collaborate with fellow kitchen team members for smooth service

What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll be part of the culinary engine room of our restaurant—executing dishes that elevate our guest experience with flavor, presentation, and consistency. Your role will include:

1. Setting up and maintaining cook stations

2. Preparing dishes according to Gold Standard recipes and portion specs

3. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of your station and kitchen areas

4. Restocking ingredients and communicating low inventory

5. Using proper food safety equipment and maintaining sanitation protocols

6. Assisting in opening, ongoing, and closing side-work duties

What We Expect from You:

1. Minimum 2 years’ experience as a cook in a restaurant setting

2. Valid Food Handler's Card

3. Strong understanding of kitchen techniques, food safety, and sanitation

4. Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written in English, Spanish

5. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen

6. High attention to detail with a commitment to consistent quality

7. Ability to lift/move up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods

8. Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
