A private family-owned Laguna Hills Dental Office seeking a friendly, professional and motivated dental assistant to join our private practice. Our long time assistant retired we are Seeking a Full Time (Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-4:30pm) or Part Time (Tue, Wed, Thur 8:30am-4:30pm) Dental Assistant to add to our staff. This is a long term stable position for the right candidate.
We have been established for 45 years and we are looking for someone that is friendly, outgoing, and willing to learn new skills. Responsibilities include: greeting patients in the dental office, setting up instruments, equipment and materials, sterilizing instruments according to regulations, assisting the dentist through 4-handed dentistry, fabricating temporary crowns, undertaking lab tasks as instructed, providing oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions, ordering dental supplies, keeping the dental room clean and well-stocked, and other tasks as assigned
The ideal candidate: would have knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods, understanding of health and safety regulations, Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, well-organized and reliable.
