What does a technician do?
Thoroughly clean the interior and exterior of vehicles, not limited to waxing, leather conditioning, vacuuming, and carpet shampooing.
Your role as a Car Wash & Detail Technician is crucial in addressing customer inquiries, explaining services performed, and recommending additional detailing options when necessary. Your exceptional customer service skills will be highly valued and integral to our operations.
As a Car Wash & Detail Technician, you'll have the opportunity to stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and best practices related to car washing and detailing, fostering your professional growth and learning. Assist with other automotive service tasks as needed or assigned.
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age, with a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
Eligibility to work in the United States with a clean criminal record.
Ability to drive vehicle safely when traveling to customer sites.
Familiarity with car wash procedures and equipment.
Self-directed with a high level of energy.
Interested in accuracy and doing what is right.
Be a team player, hardworking, and honest.
Be on time to work and reliable.
Basic computer and math skills, tech-savvy with a smartphone.
Knowledge of custodial practices for maintaining cleanliness.
Must be comfortable with working outside in occasionally hot, cold, or dirty conditions.
Must be able to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods.
Must be able to lift and move inventory items and other work-related items (up to 50 lbs.)
Previous experience in car detailing or related field preferred
Strong customer service skills to interact with clients effectively.
Working Conditions:
This job will involve occasional exposure to some disagreeable elements such as hot and cold temperatures, loud noises, dust/dirt, and exhaust fumes. However, we provide all the necessary safety equipment and ensure a safe working environment.
