We are looking for a mature, motivated, and dependable individual with an eye for detail to join our team. We are a family-owned, high-end auto body collision repair shop, located in Costa Mesa. While we understand that credentials are important, the number one thing we look for in potential candidates is work ethic and a positive attitude.
As our Color Sand & Polisher, you will be responsible for bringing out the ultimate shine and finish in high-end paintwork. You’ll work closely with our paint department to perfect surfaces, remove imperfections, and deliver a mirror-like finish that meets luxury and showroom-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Wet sanding (color sanding) to remove texture, dust nibs, and imperfections
Machine polishing, buffing, and final finishing to a swirl-free, glass-smooth surface
Inspecting painted panels to ensure consistency and quality
Maintaining polishing tools, pads, compounds, and cleanliness of the workspace
Collaborating with painters and body technicians to achieve flawless results
Following proper safety procedures and high-end detailing standards
Qualifications:
Ability to deliver show-quality work consistently
Keen attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality
Valid in-state driver’s license or CA State ID card
Prior automotive color sand and polish experience
Reliable, professional, and team-oriented attitude
