Position Overview
We are seeking a Social Media Marketing Specialist who can plan, create, and manage daily content across all our platforms. You will work directly with leadership to grow our online presence, generate real customer inquiries, and help build a strong brand voice.
Your job is simple: create high-impact content that gets attention, builds trust, and drives calls.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Posting
Create engaging posts, short-form videos, photos, graphics, and stories tailored for each platform (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Nextdoor, LinkedIn).
Capture and edit job-site content (before/after, technician videos, customer testimonials, equipment shots, etc.).
Manage daily posting schedules and maintain consistent brand messaging.
Brand & Strategy
Develop and execute monthly content calendars.
Build a brand personality that matches 911 Drain Lines & Plumbing: professional, reliable, fast, and trustworthy.
Research local trends, hashtags, and competitor activity to stay ahead.
Engagement & Growth
Respond to comments, messages, and community engagement.
Participate in local groups (FB groups, Nextdoor, community hubs) to increase brand visibility.
Monitor reviews and support reputation management (Google, Yelp, BBB).
Lead Generation & Reporting
Track performance metrics: engagement, reach, video performance, leads, and conversions.
Collaborate with our marketing and operations teams to align content with promotions, services, and seasonal needs.
Run basic paid ads or assist with ad campaign coordination.
Qualifications
1–3 years of social media marketing experience (home services industry a major plus but not required).
Strong knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Nextdoor, and LinkedIn.
Ability to film and edit short-form video content (Reels/TikTok).
Strong writing skills and understanding of brand voice.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
Basic graphic design/video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, Adobe, etc.).
Highly organized and able to prioritize multiple projects.
Preferred Skills
Experience with local SEO optimization for posts.
Basic knowledge of plumbing or home-service terminology (or willingness to learn quickly).
Experience with paid ads is a plus.
Photography/videography skills.
Understanding of lead funnels, landing pages, and conversion strategy.
