Accounting Clerk

Description We are offering a role based in Oxnard, California, for a company in the manufacturing industry. The role is an Accounting Clerk position in a workplace that values accuracy and efficiency. This Accounting Clerk position is a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Reconciling accounts to ensure their accuracy. Handling both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions. Managing billing tasks to ensure timely and accurate invoicing. Processing invoices and maintaining related records. Utilizing Microsoft Excel for various accounting-related tasks. Ensuring all financial records are kept accurately and updated. Assisting with other accounting projects as needed. Communicating with clients and vendors regarding billing and payment queries. Reviewing financial reports for potential discrepancies. Assisting with month-end and year-end close processes.Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) Knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR) Ability to process invoices accurately and efficiently Strong skills in Microsoft Excel A degree in Accounting or related field is preferred Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Knowledge of general accounting principles and procedures Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
