Qualifications:
Cashier, customer service, retail or foodservice experience is great, but not required.
Excellent in cash handling and suggestive selling techniques. A desire to be a brand ambassador and promote 7Eleven’s loyalty rewards program.
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and coworkers.
Desire and able to demonstrate to be part of a performance-driven team.
The Sales Associate position requires constant standing and walking with occasional stooping, reaching, kneeling and crouching/ squatting. The ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
Ability to follow proper health code guidelines.
Ability to follow proper gasoline handling code guidelines.
Ability to maintain but not limited to clean, guest friendly environment in the store and perform all regular cleaning
activities and other tasks that are included on job assignments.
Responsibilities:
Welcome guests upon entering the store.
Provide prompt, efficient and courteous customer service.
Drive sales through effective communication with customers.
As one would expect, cash handling, fuel transactions, cleaning, and stocking are part of the role with some foodservice positions specifically tasked with food prep and foodservice safety.
Maintain a clean, customer friendly environment in your franchisee’s store.
Perform cashier duties accurately and effectively (ring sales and maintain cash control).
Perform all regular cleaning activities, maintain the positive image of the store, and other tasks but not limited to include in your job assignments.
Forecast, order and stock merchandise (with appropriate training).
Check in merchandise deliveries from vendors.
