This position is located at our Palm Desert store - territory includes Riverside and Imperial counties

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Inside/Outside Commercial Sales Development Representative (Commercial Sales) to join our team in Palm Desert. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients and driving sales growth. This position requires a self-starter with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic and a passion for sales.

Key Responsibilities:

Identity and target potential commercial clients through research and networking

Following up with existing commercial clients (leads) that have already been generated, or have previous purchasing history

Manage, retain and expand existing commercial customer relationships

Develop and execute customer action plans

Conduct outbound sales calls and visits to generate leads and schedule meetings

Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers in targeted accounts

Present and demonstrate our products/services to prospective clients

Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements

Collaborate with store sales representatives and ownership to develop effective sales strategies and tactics

Track and report on sales activities and performance metrics – using tools provided

Attend industry events and trade shows to promote our offerings and network with potential clients

Provide feedback to management on market trends and customer needs

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field is preferred – experience may offset this requirement

Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in a commercial setting

Strong understanding of sales principles and customer relationship management

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team; ability to take ownership of a project, handle multiple projects/tasks and lead a project team to desired results

Strong organizational and time management skills

Proficient in using CRM Software and other time management tools

Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients

Above all – a strongly motivated individual with a sense of urgency – highly energetic and a self-starter
