Facilitate development of internal and external reports and deliver data as needed to support and monitor strategic initiatives throughout the organization to improve member experience, improve quality of care and reduce health care costs.
Apply statistical methods and knowledge of healthcare data to identify barriers, develop and maintain reporting tools to track and manage performance at multiple levels.
Represent Quality Improvement across the organization and provide strategic insight to advance the organization’s strategic plan with key physicians, provider groups, and hospital systems by guiding and supporting established teams.
Consult cross-functional teams across the organization including Medical Management, Regional Medical Directors, Provider Network management, Provider Relations/Practice Transformation, Pharmacy etc.
Analyze data, develop and facilitate implementation of key interventions to support company objectives, including developing work plans, workflows, policies and procedures, and serving as workgroup leader when appropriate in order to execute initiatives.
Ensure effective communication of quality improvement requirements and organizational goals to internal and external stakeholders.
Mentor and train other analysts on research and analytic methodology.
Maintain knowledge of industry trends and competitor performance and recommend improvements.
Education/Experience:
Master’s degree in Statistics, Epidemiology, related field or equivalent experience. PhD in Biostatistics preferred.
5+ years of heath operations experience with emphasis on data analytics or informatics.
Experience within quality improvement, utilization management, clinical operations, and member experience.
Advanced knowledge of medical claims, health benefit eligibility data, chronic disease progression and health/wellness industry dynamics.
Project management.
Knowledge of HEDIS, CAHPS, and other relevant quality metrics and performance measurement standards.
Advanced programming skills in SAS.
Knowledge of Microstrategy or similar Business Intelligence platform preferred.
License/Certification:
Lean and Six Sigma certification preferred.
Pay Range: $103,500.00 - $191,600.00 per yearCentene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
