Learn more at http://www.methodistsacramento.org/.ResponsibilitiesPosition Summary:The RN/Staff Nurse is a professional who provides direct nursing care to the patients and residents as well as supervises the nursing activities performed by the licensed vocational nurses and the certified nursing assistants. Such care and supervision must be in accordance with current federal state and local standards guidelines and regulations that govern our facility and as may be required by nursing management to ensure that the highest degree of quality care and cost effectiveness is maintained at all times. 100% of the incumbent's time will be spent at Bruceville Terrace.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
Minimum one year experience in SNF/LTC care of the aged acutely ill chronically ill and patients in need of restorative care
Knowledge in the principles of nursing care within the RN LVN and CNA scope of practice
Working knowledge of Title 22 OBRA regulations and Joint Commission requirements
Demonstrated ability to communicate proficiently both orally and in writing in the English language
Current California RN license
BLS Certification through the American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications:
SNF/LTC 1 year supervision of nursing personnel
