Our private practice is seeking a detail-oriented, people-loving optical sales associate to join the team.
The ideal candidate thrives on connection—someone who enjoys helping patients find eyewear that fits their vision needs, lifestyle, and personality. You should be confident recommending products, comfortable engaging with patients, and genuinely motivated by creating a great experience (not a hard sell).
Responsibilities:
Guide patients in selecting frames and lenses tailored to their prescription and style
Accurately measure, adjust, and fit eyewear
Process orders, manage inventory, and maintain optical displays
Handle billing, insurance verification, and order follow-ups
Collaborate with doctors and staff to deliver seamless patient care
Participate in cross-training across office roles to support team flow and develop new skills

Previous optical or retail experience preferred but not required
