Daniyal Transit is a Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) provider specializing in wheelchair and ambulatory transportation. We are seeking a reliable and skilled Fleet Mechanic to maintain, inspect, and repair our vehicles — including sedans, wheelchair vans, and other fleet units — to ensure safety, compliance, and minimal downtime. When maintenance workload is low, this position will assist in driving patients as part of our transportation team.

Key Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance on company vehicles (sedans, wheelchair vans, and SUVs).
Conduct safety compliance checks following California CHP, DMV, and DHCS vehicle inspection standards.
Perform repairs and replacements on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and electrical components.
Respond to on-site service calls or roadside breakdowns at various locations.
Maintain accurate maintenance records for all services and repairs performed.
Ensure all vehicles meet regulatory and insurance safety standards before dispatch.
Collaborate with management to schedule regular vehicle inspections and coordinate downtime.
When mechanic work is not required, drive patients to medical appointments and facilities, ensuring professionalism and safe transport.
Perform pre- and post-trip inspections as required under company safety policy.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment and comply with all company safety and OSHA guidelines.
