Partnering with Finance leads to provide guidance and support on accounting for operating expenses and performing a detailed review of operating expenses for proper classification and accounting

Partnering with the M&A and technical accounting teams to support the accounting for M&A activity

Supporting month-end and quarter-end close accounting activities including fluctuation analysis, reviewing journal entries, and coordination/preparation of executive presentations

Primary partner to the QCT general accounting team in Hyderabad to ensure accounting processes are designed and executed accurately and timely

Preparing and gathering explanations for balance sheet fluctuations for the BS unplugged meetings

Successful candidate will possess the following characteristics:

Excellent communication skills

Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities

Strong end-to-end process orientation with demonstrated analytical thinking, project management, and problem-solving skills

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. 2+ years of Accounting, Finance, or related work experience.Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.Preferred Qua lifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration/Management, or related field. 4+ years of Accounting, Finance, or related work experience. Proficient with Microsoft Office Working knowledge of Oracle Strong verbal and written communication skills CPA with audit experience Experience working in a global matrixed organizationLevel of Responsibility: Works independently with minimal supervision. Provides supervision/guidance to other team members. Decision-making may affect work beyond immediate work group. Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey information. May require basic negotiation, influence, tact, etc. Works within the prescribed budgetary objectives of the department. Has a moderate amount of influence over key organizational decisions (e.g., is consulted by senior leadership to make key decisions). Tasks require multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; some planning, problem-solving, and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively.
