Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced HR Recruiter to join a growing organization in Miramar, California in the construction industry. As a key member of their Human Resources department, the HR Recruiter will play a critical role in attracting, sourcing, and hiring top talent for various positions within the growing construction company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, a deep understanding of the recruitment process, and a passion for connecting with potential employees who align with the company's values and goals. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to their success by building a robust workforce that drives their construction projects forward.Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing candidates to onboarding.
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for positions within the construction industry.
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and ensure alignment with company goals.
Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and evaluate candidates to determine the best fit for open positions.
Coordinate and conduct reference checks and background screenings.
Maintain accurate and organized candidate records within our applicant tracking system.
Participate in career fairs, networking events, and other recruitment activities to build a strong talent pipeline.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in HR, with a focus on recruitment, preferably within the construction industry.
Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and recruitment strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and HR software.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
