Description We are offering an opportunity for a seasoned Human Resources Manager to join our team in the Real Estate & Property industry based in San Diego, California. The individual will be responsible for providing comprehensive human resources support, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing benefits administration, and overseeing ADP payroll functions. Responsibilities: Serve as a member of the leadership team, providing valuable insights and counsel in all areas of human resources function. Assist line management by providing HR guidance and support when necessary. Stay updated with legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs while facilitating management training. Handle day-to-day performance management guidance to line management including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions. Oversee benefits administration including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and ensure correct deductions in ADP. Manage ADP Payroll, including adding new hires/terminations, processing payroll cycle, reconciling vacation & sick hours in accordance with company policy. Review company compliance with current labor laws, review ACA reporting at year end, complete verification of employment requests, and handle wage garnishments. Maintain and update all employee files and distribute vacation/sick schedule monthly. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills: Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now Knowledge of Benefit Functions Experience in Compensation Administration Compliance expertise Strong Employee Relations skills. Requirements Proven experience in a Human Resources (HR) Manager role within the Real Estate & Property industry. Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now software for HR management and payroll. Demonstrated skills in administering employee benefits and understanding of related legal regulations. Previous experience in compensation administration and understanding of wage and salary structures. Knowledge of HR compliance issues, laws, and regulations pertaining to the Real Estate & Property industry. Proven track record in managing and resolving complex employee relations issues. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with all levels of the organization. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certification in Human Resources (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus. Strong leadership skills and the ability to make strategic decisions. Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
