Job Title: Manufacturing TechnicianJob DescriptionPerforms technical tests and experiments for process engineering within R&D. Sets up processing equipment and monitors, audits, and provides guidance to line operators. Processes test runs and prepares records, charts, and graphs of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield problems or test new products. Provides technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel. Performs a wide variety of assigned manufacturing tasks to produce high-quality products. Completes work order processing to add products to inventory. Assembles piece parts into completed sub-assemblies using typical assembly tools such as screwdrivers, wire crimping tools, and small wrenches. Performs bench processes to complete mechanical, electrical, and optical assemblies using hand tools, electronic, and pneumatic tooling. Uses tools and skills to measure and quantify materials. Maintains a clean and orderly work area. Operates various liquid-handling robots and spectrometers. Performs final product QC procedures, kitting, and other packaging functions. Uses complex automated robotic systems to manage product through a highly automated workflow. Assembles electro/optical/mechanical systems that require testing, calibrating, and troubleshooting of both individual components and integrated systems using Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Aligns complex optical systems with the aid of in-house software and instruments. Assembles and aligns laser-based equipment, performing functional tests of finished products. Mixes, stores, and disposes of chemical solutions (which may include hazardous material), and performs final inspection and packaging. Experience with SOPs, travelers, ECOs, and GMP is required.Hard Skills

Five openings on 2nd shift, 2pm to 10:30pm, Monday to Friday. Pay is $22.05/hr., with a shift premium applied after 10pm. Work schedules are currently Monday to Friday but may change in the future. Training provided at different stations, with work instructions available at each station.
