Description:This Project Coordinator will assist Project Managers in organizing new and ongoing projects. Monitors project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures, organizing and participating in stakeholder meetings, and ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner. Possible opportunity for advancement into a Project Manager position. Responsibilities: Support in planning, coordination, and assisting execution of various projects and initiatives within the PMO. Support the PMO with administrative duties including, but not limited to, scheduling meetings, tracking task, follow up with team members, taking meeting notes, create action items, assign resources with clear deadlines, distribute meeting summaries, etc. Data/metrics tracking and reporting requirements with ability to work with various internal business systems to gather data. Supporting project tracking, coordinating/scheduling weekly status meetings, monitoring and revising the detailed project schedule/plan, and maintaining all proper/updated forms and deliverables. Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets and expenditures. Support development of presentations and update projects in various tools. Organizing, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings. Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings. Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings. Ensuring project deadlines are met Determining project changes Providing administrative support as needed Undertaking project tasks as required Developing project strategies Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objectiveRequirements: A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Project Coordinator in a PMO Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Experience using computers for a variety of tasks Highly analytical and proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Well-organized and motivated with good execution capabilities Results-oriented and focused on problem solving.
