Description We are extending an opportunity for a Security Manager to join our team in the Real Estate & Property industry located in San Diego, California. The chosen candidate will work towards safeguarding our IT assets, identifying potential vulnerabilities, and implementing security measures. This role requires expertise in designing and deploying security solutions, conducting regular vulnerability assessments, and ensuring compliance with security protocols.Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive security policies, procedures, and controls. Design and implement security solutions including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption technologies. Conduct regular assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend strategies for remediation. Monitor security incidents and respond in a timely manner, conducting forensic investigations when necessary. Assess potential risks to the organization’s IT assets and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations. Conduct regular security audits and provide recommendations for compliance improvements. Collaborate with IT team members to integrate security measures into the organization’s systems and processes. Provide training and guidance to staff on security best practices and awareness. Maintain detailed records of security incidents, system configurations, and security policies. Prepare and present security reports for management and stakeholders.Skills: Proficiency in Access Control, Cisco Technologies, Database, EO/IR systems, and Firewall Technologies. Expertise in Active Directory, Auditing, Authentication, Computer Hardware, and Configuration Management. Requirements Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in security management, preferably in the Real Estate & Property industry Proficiency in Access Control and Cisco Technologies Extensive knowledge and experience in working with Databases Familiarity with EO/IR systems Proficient in Firewall Technologies Ability to use Active Directory Experience in Auditing Expertise in Authentication processes Proficient in Computer Hardware Experience in Configuration Management Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage security teams effectively Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying potential security risks and implementing preventative measures Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies A relevant certification in security management will be considered an advantage.
