Job Summary: As a sandwich maker you will be responsible for preparing sandwiches according to established recipes and customer preferences. This role requires precision, communication, and a passion for delivering high-quality food products. This can be a very fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
-Prepare sandwiches according to customer orders and established recipes.
-Ensure all sandwich ingredients are fresh and meet quality standards.
-Operate kitchen equipment such as slicers and ovens effectively.
-Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sandwich preparation area.
-Collaborate with team members to fulfill customer orders efficiently.
-Learn the entire menu have have confidence with each sandwich & salad assembly.
-Handle customer inquiries and special requests courteously and professionally.
-Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure health standards are met.
-Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
-Provide friendly and efficient customer service
-General Cleaning: Work as a team to ensure all cleaning and EOD tasks are completed
Requirements:
-Experience as a Sandwich Maker or a similar role (Example: Subway, Jersey Mike, Board and Brew and Brew, and other local spots)
-Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
-Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
-Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
-Attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality food products.
-Physical endurance to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items when necessary.
Other:
Tips: you will earn tips after training, this can range from $50-$150 per week.
