Bonita Golf Course is on the hunt for an awesome Sous-chef
First and foremostWe will be recruiting a person that has skills and is fun to work with!
This person must have a great energy, positive mindset and be teamwork focused.
The Sous-chef is the main supporting agent for our Chef
They will be heavily involved in menus, food production, quality control and kitchen operations as a whole.
Sous-chefs assist in hiring and are responsible for training and developing staff.very important!
We want and LOVE good chemistry and a healthy morale in all our departments.
They're also in charge of making sure all kitchen equipment is in working order.
Downtime will be used for prepping, cleaning and other kitchen duties.
They are responsible for inventory, product and supply rotation, and menu tasting. Sous-chefs need to be responsive and have the ability to improvise when a problem arise while the restaurant is busy.
Safety precautions and sanitary provisions are also major responsibilities of the Sous-chef.
This list could go on.it's an extremely important position.
BGC is a busy Golf Course with a ton of Bar & Grill traffic!
We also focus on executing great Events such as Weddings, Quinceañeras, Reunions etc
Our Ballroom has a capacity of 300, so experience with bulk food production is a must.
