We are a small residential senior care facility currently located in Poway. However, we will be moving down to Lemon Grove in mid-February to 2 new locations. We are looking for new employees who wants to join our growing team! Training may be at Poway until we move. We specialize in Japanese care, but we also have residents and caregivers that are not Japanese.
We have various shifts available:
AM Shifts 6am-2pm
Day Shifts 2pm-10pm
Night Shifts 10pm-6am
Experienced candidate preferred
We will train those who are willing to learn
Starting wage $19
Job responsibilities
- Residents' care (ADL: bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, feeding etc.)
- Medication handling
- Facilitate residents' activities
- Communication with managers about residents' condition and other matters
- Laundry, cleaning, light cooking
Qualification
- Able to work minimum three days per week
- Kind, caring and committed to work for a long term
- Able to work independently during night shifts (if you are scheduled for night shifts.)
- Team player
- Flexible in schedule
- Responsible and willing to learn
- Criminal clearance, health checkup required
- Abilities to speak Japanese or another Asian language is highly desirable, but not required
